These homeowners partnered with our design-build team to transform their basement into a more functional space for their family. Throughout the course of the project, we turned a single finished room and an unfinished laundry area into a multipurpose space fit for everyday life and for entertaining. 

To accomplish the homeowners’ wish list, we removed walls and reconfigured the layout to create new zones. The revised floor plan included a separate laundry room and mudroom, guest bedroom and bathroom, exercise room, living room, and large play space. 

While working on the basement level, we were careful to make the remodeled space feel cohesive with the rest of the home. We incorporated laminate hardwood flooring to match the main level hardwoods. We opted for timeless design selections. We modernized fixtures and finishes while maintaining a laid back, relaxed feel.

The open floor plan allows for a seamless living experience for the homeowners and their friends and family. The extra bedroom and bathroom offer privacy for overnight guests, and the extra storage in both the laundry room and mudroom make everyday tasks a breeze.
