Homeowner Wishlist

  • To open up the space
  • To improve the flow between the kitchen and living areas

Project Details

One of our most popular remodel requests is the homeowner’s desire to open up the kitchen to the surrounding living spaces. That is exactly what our team achieved here! Through this kitchen renovation, we created a new space for cooking, dining and entertaining.

The large island serves as the focal point of the design – it features a custom wood design that coordinates with the coffee bar backsplash. Sconce lighting with gold accents illuminates the cooktop area. In the corner by the windows, a cozy breakfast nook provides the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

The end result is a remodeled kitchen that combines beauty and functionality, and a space that flows seamlessly into both the dining room and family room. Project manager Doug Johnson shared about the impact of a remodeling project like this: “It’s exciting to hear clients say, ‘I can’t believe how much bigger the space is now’ or ‘I wish we would have done this years ago!’”

This project was featured in Forsyth Family Magazine in April 2022.
