This family has lived in their beautiful corner-lot home in Buena Vista for over 50 years. After much consideration, they decided to partner with ICON to create a first floor primary suite and indoor/outdoor space that would allow them to enjoy their home for many years to come.

To create the primary suite, we converted the existing space that functioned as a playroom for their children and grandchildren for many years. To keep consistent with the look and feel of the first floor, we laid hand-nailed hardwoods throughout the room, and added custom built-ins that were designed and built by our in-house team. We also added a gas log fireplace with a custom mantle and surround.

The primary bath, which was a new addition to the home, features an open floor plan and bay window that floods the space with natural light. Together with the remodeled bedroom space, the primary suite is bright, fresh and timeless.

Lastly, the screened-in porch gives the family a space to enjoy and entertain in every season. Classic brick pavers and custom deck details elevate this outdoor space to feel like a beautiful extension of their home, complete with a dining area and cozy fireplace. The new courtyard wraps the side of the home creating an inviting and elegant entrance to the screened-in porch and side entrance of the home.
